Double hung, casement, awning, which one do you choose! The double hung window is the most popular type of window. The bottom sash recesses into the window frame. This creates a thicker barrier between the inside from the outside. Beechworth casement windows have one of the best air infiltration ratings on the market. Beechworth's window components are made of stainless steel for rust resistance and long term usage. Awning windows are similar to the casement window except they open from the bottom instead of the top. These types of windows are best for kitchens and hard to reach areas.Tags
